Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robbie Coopman kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the game, Carsten Baars was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vorenseind S.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matsloot FC the free kick. A collision led to Vorenseind S.V. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Carsten Baars hit a great ball. Gerrit Klasen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vorenseind S.V.'s Dimitrie Hof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbie Coopman in the 18th minute of play. Matsloot FC's Gerrit Klasen got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robbie Coopman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Niels-Jan de Coninck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 played minutes Matsloot FC got a freekick which was hit by Mirko Veltman. Ronald Jeuring received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mathieu Oosterhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niels-Jan de Coninck struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Mathieu Oosterhof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vorenseind S.V.. In the 45th minute Ronald Jeuring shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu Oosterhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 minutes, Werner Spannenburg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matsloot FC and the Vorenseind S.V. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Matsloot FC got a freekick which was hit by Werner Spannenburg. Niels-Jan de Coninck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronald Jeuring to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gerrit Klasen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 53 played minutes Vorenseind S.V. got a freekick which was hit by Nick Waesbergen. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Gerrit Klasen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matsloot FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerrit Klasen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dimitrie Hof breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. During the 59th minute of the match Werner Spannenburg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Werner Spannenburg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 60th match minute, Matsloot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Werner Spannenburg to maneuver through the defense. Nick Waesbergen hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th match minute, Matsloot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Mathijsen to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Bob Aalst led 67 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Matsloot FC's Mathieu Oosterhof became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Matsloot FC's zone, Nick Waesbergen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathieu Oosterhof came out of the goal and Nick Waesbergen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ronald Jeuring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robbie Coopman charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robbie Coopman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Matsloot FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Robbie Coopman hit a great ball. When Henk Post fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorenseind S.V.'s protests and gave Henk Post a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vorenseind S.V. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Henk Post hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronald Jeuring in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathieu Oosterhof saved Matsloot FC from getting behind. Matsloot FC's Gerrit Klasen got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robbie Coopman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Matsloot FC's zone, Ronald Jeuring stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathieu Oosterhof came out of the goal and Ronald Jeuring tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vorenseind S.V. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
