Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaap Wit made the kick off which started today's match. Eelco Kolman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaap Wit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thomas Schophuis charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Schophuis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hellouw FC! Pim de Zeeuw walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Japke Tigelaar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Twan Fokkens in the 17th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Grijp in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Japke Tigelaar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Twan Fokkens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Japke Tigelaar having to interfere. Harold Borst made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tim van Heiningen sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Tiel HC's zone, Eelco Kolman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Japke Tigelaar came out of the goal and Eelco Kolman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Hellouw FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaap Wit fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Twan Fokkens made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Twan Fokkens in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Japke Tigelaar saved Tiel HC from getting behind. If Tim van Heiningen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Japke Tigelaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eelco Kolman in the 71st minute. After a rather tough play, Tiel HC's Co Aalders got a free kick in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Twan Fokkens in the 73rd minute of play forced Tiel HC's goalkeeper Japke Tigelaar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Twan Fokkens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Japke Tigelaar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Eelco Kolman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Japke Tigelaar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Japke Tigelaar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eelco Kolman in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Toni Zoethout had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harold Borst. Hellouw FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Zoethout was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Jaap Wit blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harold Borst having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Hellouw FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaap Wit came free, but Harold Borst reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hellouw FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tiel HC.
