Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Koos Gerseke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sjors van Gaal in the 4th minute of the match. With his leg Koos Gerseke managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Kornwerd HC's Otto Lodewijks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 7 minutes, Otto Lodewijks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kornwerd HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Lodewijks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Woudrichem FC's zone, Otto Lodewijks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Koos Gerseke came out of the goal and Otto Lodewijks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cees Brans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woudrichem FC's goalkeeper Koos Gerseke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koos Gerseke made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Otto Lodewijks sent off a good shot on target. Reinhard Tulner charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinhard Tulner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Herman Hulsebos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fokke Wijnands hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Domenik Boeringe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frederik Hoekstra in the 27th minute of the match. Herman Hulsebos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domenik Boeringe having to interfere. Herman Hulsebos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Domenik Boeringe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Fokke Wijnands hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Kornwerd HC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Hoekstra came free, but Domenik Boeringe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sjors van Gaal to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Otto Lodewijks left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kornwerd HC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Kornwerd HC's Domenik Boeringe got control of the ball when Herman Hulsebos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Martien Ijkwezen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Kornwerd HC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederik Hoekstra came free, but Domenik Boeringe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domenik Boeringe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Hoekstra in the 84th minute of play. A collision led to Kornwerd HC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Jurre Boekholt hit a great ball. After 95 played minutes Woudrichem FC got a freekick which was hit by Gijs Schreuder. Otto Lodewijks might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Koos Gerseke. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otto Lodewijks ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kornwerd HC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Woudrichem FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
