Gert Roelofs kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Robbie Hilberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. With his leg Donald Kuipers managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Tichelwerk's Wilfried Höhenstein fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stephan Wehkamp stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Tichelwerk getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bruno Tulner hit a great ball. Stephan Wehkamp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Kloppenburg having to interfere. Mickael Smit kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Wilfried Höhenstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donald Kuipers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfried Höhenstein in the 89th minute of play forced Panningen's goalkeeper Donald Kuipers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Robbie Hilberts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tichelwerk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tichelwerk's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
