Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Jan Hendrik Seinstra's late challenge caught a Hoogeweg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Hendrik Seinstra helped the player get up and apologised. Jan Hendrik Seinstra hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of Laarakkers booed when Hoogeweg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Huiting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Kluivert kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Jan Hendrik Seinstra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laarakkers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hans Kluivert hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ferdi Oosterbaan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rogier Gerrits made a huge save. After 27 played minutes Laarakkers got a freekick which was hit by Anton van der Werff. Hoogeweg's Felix Lammers got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jan Hendrik Seinstra took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henk Wotte. Henk Wotte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The Hoogeweg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Laarakkers were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Lammers to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Hoogeweg's goalkeeper Henk Wotte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Hendrik Seinstra. Herman Brugmans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hoogeweg's Henk Wotte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Brugmans in the 58th minute of play. When Anton van der Werff was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 60 minutes had been played. Anton van der Werff hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Gerben Bergen kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rogier Gerrits showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Lammers in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laarakkers's goalkeeper Rogier Gerrits, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ferdi Oosterbaan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Hendrik Seinstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henk Wotte having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Bas Huiting hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerben Bergen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Henk Wotte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdi Oosterbaan struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Rogier Gerrits didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoogeweg. The Laarakkers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Laarakkers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
