Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucas Klasens made the kick off which started today's match. If Hette Hertog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Lucas Klasens notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tragel HC's Andy Zegwaard. Andy Zegwaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Rolf Oosterman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Berry Mensing. That made the score 1-1 in the 11 minute of play. When Max Hateboer fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tragel HC's protests and gave Max Hateboer a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Tragel HC got a freekick which was hit by Max Hateboer. Andy Zegwaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Klasens, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bentveld's Berry Mensing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Oosterman in the 22nd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Richard Theuws got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Paul Lambers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tragel HC's Andy Zegwaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Hette Hertog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andy Zegwaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jasper Klaasens was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, the referee gave Tragel HC a penalty. Lex Palsma looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Berry Mensing.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rolf Oosterman to make the kick off. Paul Lambers charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul Lambers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Paul Lambers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berry Mensing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolf Oosterman in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes of play, Bentveld's Hette Hertog made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Zegwaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rolf Oosterman might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berry Mensing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Oosterman ran back to his position shaking his head. Berry Mensing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Oosterman in the 75th minute of the match. With a little luck, Tragel HC's Andy Zegwaard got control of the ball when Hette Hertog tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lennart Kinear sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hette Hertog came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andy Zegwaard could save by the left post. Richard Theuws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berry Mensing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Hateboer in the 95th minute of the match. Berry Mensing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolf Oosterman, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Bentveld supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bentveld would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
