Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jordi Moes started the match with the kick off. If Herbert Landzaat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Menno Post hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ernest Paas might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederik Baalman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Paas ran back to his position shaking his head. Herbert Landzaat who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Frederik Baalman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernest Paas in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frederik Baalman saved Sleeuwijk HC from getting behind. Ernest Paas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Baalman having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Fernando Ter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sleeuwijk HC and the Mil FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fernando Ter hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Mil FC's Herbert Landzaat got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Jordi Moes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jan Hendrik Bouwman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederik Baalman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Paas in the 36th minute of play. Ernest Paas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Baalman having to interfere. Bram Poelman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederik Baalman having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Paas made a kick off. The supporters of Mil FC booed when Sleeuwijk HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niels-Jan Ensing didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Landzaat in the 54th minute of play forced Sleeuwijk HC's goalkeeper Frederik Baalman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordi Moes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jordi Moes in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Hendrik Bouwman saved Mil FC from getting behind. The corner led Sleeuwijk HC's Eddy Kostermans to fire away a dangerous shot which Jan Hendrik Bouwman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th minute, Eddy Kostermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute, Ernest Paas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mil FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to Mil FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Reinhard Boon hit a great ball. In the 81st match minute, Sleeuwijk HC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niels-Jan Ensing to maneuver through the defense. Frederik Baalman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Landzaat in the 84th minute of the match. Frederik Baalman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Paas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Herbert Landzaat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Landzaat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mil FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sleeuwijk HC for a fine match.
