Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ronny Palsma got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Bruinisse FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albert Janssens to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 5 minutes, Ronny Palsma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Steenvak FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronny Palsma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steenvak FC's Marco Zegwaard got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Demy Eulen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Steenvak FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diderik van Someren came free, but Sjef Averdijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bruinisse FC's Co de Gooijer in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Steenvak FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Bruinisse FC's Jan Hofkamp got a free kick in the 19th minute. Co de Gooijer charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Co de Gooijer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Co de Gooijer hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Steven Karremans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Palsma, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Sjef Averdijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Co de Gooijer in the 37th minute of the match. Diderik van Someren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sjef Averdijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Co de Gooijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bruinisse FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Co de Gooijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sjef Averdijk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Steven Karremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Zegwaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ronny Palsma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Co de Gooijers short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Sjef Averdijk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Co de Gooijer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diderik van Someren in the 78th minute of play forced Steenvak FC's goalkeeper Sjef Averdijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruinisse FC's Steven Karremans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Zegwaard in the 85th minute of play. Robert-Jan Dussel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steven Karremans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Zegwaard's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Sjef Averdijk didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 96th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bruinisse FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
