Steven Karremans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Paas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Bruinisse FC's zone, Ernest Paas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Karremans came out of the goal and Ernest Paas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mil FC's Herbert Landzaat got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toni Bijlsma kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Diderik van Someren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diderik van Someren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jan Hendrik Bouwman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernest Paas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ernest Paas made a kick off. Ernest Paas was extremely unlucky when he, in the 56th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arno Geurtsen during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arno Geurtsen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes, Bram Poelman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mil FC and the Bruinisse FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A very good chance. Steven Karremans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernest Paas in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes in the game, Co de Gooijer dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Co de Gooijer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mil FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bruinisse FC.
