Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Glanerbrug FC's Roel Kruit started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Harold Wilson made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Frits van Zaanen sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Glanerbrug FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sluitersveld HC:s goal. The attack was good, but when Frits van Zaanen in the 14th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Harold Wilson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Appeldoorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Klaas Appeldoorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Wilson having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Frits van Zaanen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sluitersveld HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glanerbrug FC the free kick. The supporters of Glanerbrug FC booed when Sluitersveld HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits van Zaanen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Sluitersveld HC's Frits van Zaanen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Harold Wilson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 31st minute, Sluitersveld HC's Klaas Appeldoorn ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Harold Wilson. Harold Wilson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. In the 34th match minute, Glanerbrug FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sipke Meier to maneuver through the defense. If Frits van Zaanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klaas Appeldoorn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harold Wilson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Frits van Zaanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Wilson having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Klaas Appeldoorn to strike the kick off in the second half. Frits van Zaanen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harold Wilson having to make a save. Harold Wilson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frits van Zaanen in the 56th minute of the match. Klaas Appeldoorn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Sluitersveld HC booed when Glanerbrug FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elroy van Persie didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Klaas Appeldoorn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sluitersveld HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Klaas Appeldoorn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harold Wilson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaas Appeldoorn in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harold Wilson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Dolf Cuperus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frits van Zaanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klaas Appeldoorn in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Wilson saved Glanerbrug FC from getting behind. Henny Bouwman kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Klaas Appeldoorn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harold Wilson having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Sluitersveld HC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
