Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cobus Zomerdijk made the kick off and thus started the match. Youri Warringa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sjors Wessels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roel Kruit, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Billy Vrieling kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Lunen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Stühling to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes Lunen got a freekick which was hit by Billy Vrieling. A collision led to Lunen getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Julius Stühling hit a great ball. Elroy van Persie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Wessels having to interfere. Roel Kruit took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sjors Wessels. Sjors Wessels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Sjors Wessels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roel Kruit in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Cobus Zomerdijk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glanerbrug FC's Harold Wilson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Lunen's goalkeeper Sjors Wessels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elroy van Persie. Sjors Wessels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Kruit in the 50th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roel Kruit to strike the kick off in the second half. Sjors Wessels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Kruit in the 55th minute of play. Roel Kruit fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sjors Wessels having to interfere. Lunen's Sjors Wessels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elroy van Persie in the 59th minute of play. Billy Vrieling hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sjors Wessels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roel Kruit in the 62nd minute of play. Simon Hommes made a great header on Lunen's corner, it was just that Glanerbrug FC's Harold Wilson managed to reach the ball for a save. Lunen's Cobus Zomerdijk got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, one of Glanerbrug FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glanerbrug FC. When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Lunen's Simon Hommes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Harold Wilson. After 85 minutes, Roel Kruit made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lunen's Sjors Wessels tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Roel Kruit managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glanerbrug FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roel Kruit was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sjors Wessels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Elroy van Persie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Elroy van Persie cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sjors Wessels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Glanerbrug FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Lunen for a fine match.
