Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Heuveltje's Hugo Bosz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Heuveltje getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Martien Hulzebos hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Hugo Bosz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamdijk FC's Jos Hoekstra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Hugo Bosz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jos Hoekstra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Eelco Roodenburg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jos Hoekstra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eelco Roodenburg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jos Hoekstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jos Hoekstra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bosz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Bosz in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jos Hoekstra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the last second Jos Hoekstra throw himself and got hold of the ball when Hugo Bosz in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 29th minute Pim Pragt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Roewen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hamdijk FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hugo Bosz 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Denny Roewen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pim Pragt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogier de Ruijter during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Hamdijk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogier de Ruijter to maneuver through the defense. If Hugo Bosz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamdijk FC's Mark Hoving got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pim Pragt to make the kick off. If Mark Hoving had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hamdijk FC's zone, Hugo Bosz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jos Hoekstra came out of the goal and Hugo Bosz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hamdijk FC's goalkeeper Jos Hoekstra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mark Hoving fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denny Roewen having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play, Heuveltje's Eelco Roodenburg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jos Hoekstra was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jos Hoekstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Bosz in the 67th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, Geale Mulders was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamdijk FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heuveltje the free kick. After 68 played minutes Hamdijk FC got a freekick which was hit by Geale Mulders. Denny Roewen came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Hamdijk FC's Mark Hoving. But to his dismay, Mark Hoving quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 76th minute of the match, Rogier de Ruijter got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denny Roewen was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Hamdijk FC defense, Eelco Roodenburg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jos Hoekstra. The Hamdijk FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jos Hoekstra should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Hamdijk FC's Mathijs Bömker got a free kick in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hamdijk FC's zone, Eelco Roodenburg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jos Hoekstra came out of the goal and Eelco Roodenburg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heuveltje's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
