Eelco Roodenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carsten ter Averst having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carsten ter Averst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes Heuveltje got a freekick which was hit by Mitchell Mastebroek. Heuveltje's Hugo Bosz got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Hugo Bosz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carsten ter Averst. Schiphol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Bosz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Eelco Roodenburg came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Heuveltje fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eelco Roodenburg couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Roland Geerds notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Heuveltje's Denny Roewen. Denny Roewen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carsten ter Averst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pieter Smit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Schiphol's Carel Heerspink got a free kick in the 91st minute. After having played for 97 minutes, Carel Heerspink managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Schiphol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carel Heerspink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denny Roewen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Smit, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
