The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Nibbelke made a kick off. Kerkenveld FC's Jhon Winter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacco Zandee in the 54th minute of play. After 56 played minutes Gravesloot got a freekick which was hit by Meindert Onderwater. Mickael Kort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Tommie Schreuder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mickael Kort in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommie Schreuder prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute Theo Nibbelke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommie Schreuder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mickael Kort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommie Schreuder having to interfere. Kerkenveld FC's Jhon Winter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Kerkenveld FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theo Nibbelke in the 97th minute of play forced Gravesloot's goalkeeper Tommie Schreuder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Gravesloot players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
