If Thijs Nijhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arjen Daelemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thijs Nijhof, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerjan Hof in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hans Zalm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ronald Brugmans hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Thijs Nijhof's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Arjen Daelemans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 18th minute Daniël Valk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Zalm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Luniabird's Daniël Valk in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yde S.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. Thijs Nijhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen Daelemans having to interfere. In the 23rd match minute, Luniabird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascall Bense to maneuver through the defense. Martien Dorenbosch in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arjen Daelemans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Daniël Valk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gerjan Hof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerjan Hof recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerjan Hof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Hans Zalm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martien Dorenbosch struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Arjen Daelemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yde S.V..

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Thijs Nijhof stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Luniabird's goal looked a bit too open when Thijs Nijhof came free, but Arjen Daelemans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Daniël Valk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luniabird's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniël Valk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Zalm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 60 minutes into the game, Roel Reis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luniabird's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yde S.V. the free kick. A collision led to Luniabird getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Roel Reis hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Luniabird defense, Martien Dorenbosch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arjen Daelemans. The Luniabird fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arjen Daelemans should have stopped the shot. Martien Dorenbosch hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes, Thijs Nijhof mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yde S.V. and the Luniabird players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Yde S.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thijs Nijhof to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the game, Daniël Valk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hans Zalm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Yde S.V.'s Co Bartels got a free kick in the 86th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Luniabird's Gerrit Steffens tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Thijs Nijhof managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yde S.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Thijs Nijhof was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arjen Daelemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luniabird's Arjen Daelemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Dorenbosch in the 91st minute of play. Thijs Nijhof struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Arjen Daelemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yde S.V.. When Roel Reis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 93 minutes had been played. The supporters of Yde S.V. booed when Luniabird was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roel Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yde S.V.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
