Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Taco Aalst started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Lytshuzen HC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Theo Lamey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Oldenbeuving in the 6th minute of play forced Crixhoek's goalkeeper Nathan van Ankeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nathan van Ankeren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Mos in the 11th minute of play. Sven Ijsselhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taco Aalst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taco Aalst might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Ijsselhof. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Taco Aalst ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Mos in the 23rd minute of play forced Crixhoek's goalkeeper Nathan van Ankeren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Theo Lamey notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Lytshuzen HC's Sven Ijsselhof. Sven Ijsselhof was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nathan van Ankeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Oldenbeuving in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Anton Oldenbeuving made a precise shot to the right of Nathan van Ankeren. Crixhoek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Anton de Ridder fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crixhoek's protests and gave Anton de Ridder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Anton de Ridder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Taco Aalst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Ijsselhof having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play Crixhoek's Anton de Ridder was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Crixhoek's Anton de Ridder got a free kick in the 44th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Bert Mos struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Nathan van Ankeren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lytshuzen HC. When Theo Lamey came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Crixhoek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theo Lamey couldn't finish the play. Theo Lamey might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Ijsselhof. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Theo Lamey ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven Ijsselhof took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Lamey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Crixhoek's zone, Bert Mos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan van Ankeren came out of the goal and Bert Mos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anton Oldenbeuving recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elbert Zorge kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Nathan van Ankeren made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Anton Oldenbeuving sent off a good shot on target. Lytshuzen HC's Anton Oldenbeuving got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bert Mos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nathan van Ankeren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lytshuzen HC's Bert Mos got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
