Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Theo Akkerman kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Theo Akkerman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Tellingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 3rd minute, Antoon Rademaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theo Akkerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roy Tellingen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koen Landzaat in the 9th minute of play forced Tzummarum's goalkeeper Roy Tellingen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th match minute, Tienhoven FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jelmer Kaspers to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Dekens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Visser in the 14th minute. Michel Schrage recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Dekens was a little too slow when Michel Schrage got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Gerard Visser managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tzummarum's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerard Visser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Dekens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 30 played minutes Tienhoven FC got a freekick which was hit by Jelmer Kaspers. Theo Akkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roy Tellingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Landzaat in the 37th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tzummarum fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Schrage to make the kick off. Patrick Dekens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Schrage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gerard Visser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Schrage sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Tzummarum booed when Tienhoven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Kroon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Schrage blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patrick Dekens having to make a save. Patrick Dekens came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Tzummarum's Gerard Visser. But to his dismay, Gerard Visser quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Tienhoven FC's Patrick Dekens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerard Visser in the 66th minute of play. Michel Schrage might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrick Dekens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Schrage ran back to his position shaking his head. Koen Landzaat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Tzummarum's goal looked a bit too open when Theo Akkerman came free, but Roy Tellingen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tzummarum's Teo Perk got a free kick in the 80th minute. Patrick Dekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Visser in the 82nd minute of play. Theo Akkerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Roy Tellingen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Tzummarum getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Paul van Zonderen hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Koen Landzaat got free with Roy Tellingen in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Tzummarum's zone, Theo Akkerman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roy Tellingen came out of the goal and Theo Akkerman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tzummarum had won after a very even match.
