Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Theo Duinhoven took the kick off in the first half of the match. 0-1 became the score in the 3rd minute when Frans Olfers elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Plaggenborg FC booed when Abtsdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Adams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bart Harmsen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Plaggenborg FC's Wilfred Konterman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Degenkamp in the 11th minute of play. Stefano Saenen kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Theo Duinhoven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danny Deiman charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danny Deiman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danny Deiman kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 19 minutes, Sjaak Rodenboog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaggenborg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sjaak Rodenboog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Plaggenborg FC's John Bust threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sjaak Rodenboog, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Abtsdale defense, Sjaak Rodenboog kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of John Bust. The Abtsdale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that John Bust should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sjaak Rodenboog in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg John Bust saved Abtsdale from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theo Duinhoven in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfred Konterman saved Plaggenborg FC from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Olfers in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfred Konterman saved Plaggenborg FC from getting behind. In the 46th minute Sjaak Rodenboog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Bust saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sjaak Rodenboog stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John Bust made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfred Jaliens in the 52nd minute of play. If Sjaak Rodenboog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Bust took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfred Jaliens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Brain Diest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Abtsdale getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Giovanni Adams hit a great ball. In the 74th minute Theo Duinhoven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfred Konterman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfred Konterman was a little too slow when Theo Duinhoven got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 84th minute of the match Rien Zadelhoff shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but John Bust showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Frans Olfers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Plaggenborg FC's Stefano Saenen got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Plaggenborg FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abtsdale's performance. The match ended with a win for Abtsdale.
