Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rudi van Zeijl started the match with the kick off. Jurre Heitinga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Jean-Paul Thole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Jurre Heitinga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jean-Paul Thole. Alting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurre Heitinga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Alting's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Zeegers came free, but Jean-Paul Thole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudi van Zeijl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jelmer Ijsselhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rudi van Zeijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Olaf Ottens fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vorenseinde's protests and gave Olaf Ottens a yellow card for diving instead. After 18 minutes, Gerald Rinzema mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorenseinde and the Alting players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gerald Rinzema hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Jan Klijnstra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jelmer Ijsselhof. Vorenseinde's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jurre Heitinga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Vorenseinde's zone, Lucien van Zijl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jelmer Ijsselhof came out of the goal and Lucien van Zijl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rudi van Zeijl struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jelmer Ijsselhof didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alting. Giovanni Zeegers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Alting booed when Vorenseinde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Vrede didn't get a good kick on the ball. John Rolink hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Jurre Heitinga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vorenseinde's supporters rose to their feet, but Jurre Heitinga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Paul Thole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Lucien van Zijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jelmer Ijsselhof made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Lucien van Zijl sent off a good shot on target. 44 minutes into the match, Vorenseinde's goalkeeper Jelmer Ijsselhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucien van Zijl. After the first half Vorenseinde were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giovanni Zeegers to make the kick off. Giovanni Zeegers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jean-Paul Thole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Rudi van Zeijl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jelmer Ijsselhof was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Ted Soer fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alting's protests and gave Ted Soer a yellow card for diving instead. Ted Soer kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jean-Paul Thole made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jurre Heitinga sent off a good shot on target. Jurre Heitinga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Paul Thole having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Alting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlo de Visser to maneuver through the defense. Vorenseinde's Jelmer Ijsselhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rudi van Zeijl in the 71st minute of play. Giovanni Zeegers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jean-Paul Thole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Jurre Heitinga came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Vorenseinde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jurre Heitinga couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Rudi van Zeijl notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Vorenseinde's Jelmer Ijsselhof. Jelmer Ijsselhof was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 87 minutes, Youri Stuifzand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vorenseinde and the Alting players grew even worse after the yellow card. Youri Stuifzand hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Alting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Klijnstra to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Vorenseinde got a freekick which was hit by Gerald Rinzema. Alting were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vorenseinde for a fine match.
