John Rolink charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Rolink the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Staal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Lucien van Zijl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Hindriks was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the game, Jorn Roorda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jean-Paul Thole made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Youri de Ridder's late challenge caught a Alting's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Youri de Ridder helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alting booed when Zwingelspaan SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri de Ridder didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Alting's goal looked a bit too open when Jorn Roorda came free, but Jean-Paul Thole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Staal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Jean-Paul Thole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by Lucien van Zijl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 71 played minutes Zwingelspaan SV got a freekick which was hit by Damien Maseland. After 73 minutes of play, Zwingelspaan SV's Jorn Roorda made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Paul Thole was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Jan Staal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jean-Paul Thole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Staal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play Alting's John Rolink was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Zwingelspaan SV booed when Alting was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Rolink didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88thth minute of the game Youri de Ridder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alting's Jean-Paul Thole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th match minute, Alting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ted Soer to maneuver through the defense. Jorn Roorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Zwingelspaan SV were the better team. Zwingelspaan SV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
