Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hendrik-Jan Lamey kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Alting got a freekick which was hit by Coenraad Aerts. After a defensive mix-up in Alting's zone, Jordi Arnolds stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Paul Thole came out of the goal and Jordi Arnolds tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ted Soer fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alting's protests and gave Ted Soer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Ted Soer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Jordi Arnolds managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Group's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordi Arnolds was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Lucien van Zijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudi van Zeijl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Gooitzen Roelfs successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gooitzen Roelfs made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Lucien van Zijl sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Alting booed when Group was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berry Denneboom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jean-Paul Thole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hendrik-Jan Lamey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Alting's goal looked a bit too open when Jordi Arnolds came free, but Jean-Paul Thole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Timmer charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Timmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tomas Timmer kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Gooitzen Roelfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudi van Zeijl, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. If Hendrik-Jan Lamey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Group's Hendrik-Jan Lamey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jean-Paul Thole narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the game, Carlo de Visser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alting's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Group the free kick. A collision led to Alting getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Carlo de Visser hit a great ball. Jean-Paul Thole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jordi Arnolds in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rudi van Zeijl made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hendrik-Jan Lamey in the 54th minute of play forced Alting's goalkeeper Jean-Paul Thole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Alting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudi van Zeijl to maneuver through the defense. Lucien van Zijl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gooitzen Roelfs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudi van Zeijl in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gooitzen Roelfs saved Group from getting behind. Alting's Jean-Paul Thole proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Alting from getting a goal against them. If Lucien van Zijl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Rudi van Zeijl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gooitzen Roelfs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gooitzen Roelfs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudi van Zeijl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gooitzen Roelfs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alting. The Group players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Alting from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
