Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jan Staal took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Vorenseinde's Jurre Heitinga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Hindriks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nico Hindriks came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Vorenseinde's Giovanni Zeegers. But to his dismay, Giovanni Zeegers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Zwingelspaan SV getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Tjeerd Roodenburg hit a great ball. Jan Staal had several of the Vorenseinde's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Jelmer Ijsselhof as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri de Ridder in the 21st minute of play forced Vorenseinde's goalkeeper Jelmer Ijsselhof to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovanni Zeegers in the 28th minute of play forced Zwingelspaan SV's goalkeeper Nico Hindriks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Staal charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Staal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Zwingelspaan SV got a freekick which was hit by Jan Staal. Nico Hindriks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Zeegers, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Giovanni Zeegers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Hindriks having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Zwingelspaan SV's goal looked a bit too open when Jurre Heitinga came free, but Nico Hindriks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vorenseinde's zone, Jan Staal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jelmer Ijsselhof came out of the goal and Jan Staal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jorn Roorda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jelmer Ijsselhof tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Giovanni Zeegers was the one to do the kick off. Nico Hindriks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giovanni Zeegers in the 52nd minute of the match. Jelmer Ijsselhof didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Staal went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Vorenseinde getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Jean-Paul Wortelboer hit a great ball. Jelmer Ijsselhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Staal in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Vorenseinde's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Staal came free, but Jelmer Ijsselhof reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorn Roorda in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jelmer Ijsselhof prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan Staal took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jelmer Ijsselhof. Jelmer Ijsselhof dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Vorenseinde's Jelmer Ijsselhof played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Staal in the 74th minute of play. Tjeerd Roodenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelmer Ijsselhof having to interfere. If Jorn Roorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Staal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jelmer Ijsselhof having to interfere. Jorn Roorda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vorenseinde's Roel Franssen got a free kick in the 94th minute. There was no doubt that Zwingelspaan SV were the better team. Zwingelspaan SV's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
