Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Hartlief started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the match, Spik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joep Rieks came free, but Roland van den Eede reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Spik FC's Roland van den Eede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joep Rieks in the 7th minute of play. Christiaan Lembeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christiaan Lembeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christiaan Lembeck came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Paal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christiaan Lembeck couldn't finish the play. Roland van den Eede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joep Rieks in the 18th minute of the match. If Christiaan Lembeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hugo Hartlief's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boudewijn Klasen was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Joep Rieks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roland van den Eede came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Paal FC's Joep Rieks. But to his dismay, Joep Rieks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joep Rieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Spik FC's zone, Christiaan Lembeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland van den Eede came out of the goal and Christiaan Lembeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Spik FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Paal FC were winning 0-1.

After 53 played minutes Spik FC got a freekick which was hit by Jan Cardinaal. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Joep Rieks got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jack Brinker took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Boudewijn Klasen. Paal FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joep Rieks might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roland van den Eede. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paal FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anthony Westra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Spik FC's Anthony Westra got a free kick in the 88th minute. Falco Vrede recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paal FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
