Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pieter Schipper started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Heidhuizen FC got a freekick which was hit by Jelte Veenema. If Pieter Schipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heidhuizen FC's Carel Euving proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Heidhuizen FC from getting a goal against them. Cees van Zalingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Drok in the 9th minute of the match. Cees van Zalingen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincent Drok in the 12th minute of play. Anton van Beukering kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Mark Trenning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cees van Zalingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Visser could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Carel Euving made a huge save. After 33 played minutes, Heidhuizen FC's Bill de Vlieger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cees van Zalingen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heidhuizen FC reached it. Cees van Zalingen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Trenning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cees van Zalingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Trenning in the 36th minute of the match. Carel Euving showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pieter Schipper in the 38th minute of the match. Carel Euving showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Schipper, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the Rectum defense, Vincent Drok kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cees van Zalingen. The Rectum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cees van Zalingen should have stopped the shot. Rectum's Cees van Zalingen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent Drok in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vincent Drok stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Vincent Drok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cees van Zalingen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carel Euving took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieter Schipper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Rectum's zone, Mark Trenning stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cees van Zalingen came out of the goal and Mark Trenning tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cees van Zalingen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Drok in the 59th minute of the match. Vincent Drok struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Cees van Zalingen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heidhuizen FC. When Mark Trenning came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Heidhuizen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Trenning couldn't finish the play. If Pieter Schipper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theo Visser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Euving having to interfere. Theo Visser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Carel Euving tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bastiaan van der Sar charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastiaan van der Sar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 played minutes Heidhuizen FC got a freekick which was hit by Bastiaan van der Sar. Heidhuizen FC's Bastiaan van der Sar got his second yellow card of the match in the 79th minute. The referee ordered Bastiaan van der Sar off the ground. Bastiaan van der Sar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Heidhuizen FC's zone, Pieter Schipper stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carel Euving came out of the goal and Pieter Schipper tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Heidhuizen FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
