An unexpectedly hard shot by Folkert Rijaard in the 5th minute of play forced Heidhuizen FC's goalkeeper Carel Euving to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Joost Ottenhof received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carel Euving tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Mark Trenning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Heidhuizen FC got a freekick which was hit by Gooitzen Fransen. Folkert Rijaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jan-Joost Ottenhof fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carel Euving having to interfere. Jan-Joost Ottenhof sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Folkert Rijaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Beekkant VV's goalkeeper Koen Ottenhof had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Trenning. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vincent Drok during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Heidhuizen FC got a freekick which was hit by Vincent Drok. In the 31st minute, Mark Trenning ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Koen Ottenhof was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 34th minute Vincent Drok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Ottenhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mark Trenning came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Koen Ottenhof could save by the left post. Folkert Rijaard struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Carel Euving didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beekkant VV. In the 52nd minute Vincent Drok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koen Ottenhof saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Beekkant VV getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bram Tellingen hit a great ball. If Vincent Drok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 60 minutes into the match, Mark Trenning notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Beekkant VV's Koen Ottenhof. Koen Ottenhof was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Beekkant VV's Jeroen Derks got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 68th minute, Vincent Drok left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heidhuizen FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. If Jan-Joost Ottenhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folkert Rijaard got free with Carel Euving in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes of play, Beekkant VV's Folkert Rijaard made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carel Euving was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Joost Ottenhof in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carel Euving prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bastiaan van der Sar's late challenge caught a Beekkant VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bastiaan van der Sar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Heidhuizen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bastiaan van der Sar to maneuver through the defense. Koen Ottenhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Trenning, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mark Trenning in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Koen Ottenhof prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Heidhuizen FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
