Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emiel de Zwart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Plaggenborg in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schayk's goalkeeper Emiel de Zwart, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kevin Haas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonnie Rutgers in the 6th minute of play. Schayk's Tonnie Rutgers got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas de Jong in the 16th minute of play forced Schayk's goalkeeper Emiel de Zwart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas de Jong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Schayk's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Stevens came free, but Emiel de Zwart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Tonnie Rutgers fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Spik V.V.'s goalkeeper Kevin Haas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Blommaart. Ronald Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiel de Zwart having to interfere. Kevin Haas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonnie Rutgers, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Tonnie Rutgers got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tonnie Rutgers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tonnie Rutgers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Kevin Haas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corné Zielman struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Kevin Haas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Schayk. In the 65th minute, Tonnie Rutgers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Henk Zoetebier hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With his leg Emiel de Zwart managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Spik V.V.'s Andreas de Jong fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andreas de Jong got free with Emiel de Zwart in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andreas de Jong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Emiel de Zwart made a huge save. Richard Blommaart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ronald Stevens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas de Jong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 85 minutes, Andreas de Jong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spik V.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Andreas de Jong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Spik V.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Richard Blommaart came free, but Kevin Haas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
