Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joep Hoogendorp started the match with the kick off. Iwan Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brunsting HC's Rafael Moorlag came free and shot a quick shot against goal 10 minutes in the game, fortunately Steve Klasens had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Iwan Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Boukoul booed when Brunsting HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cees Vliet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Theo Seedorf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ruud Hemmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Moorlag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Boukoul's Steve Klasens got control of the ball when Rafael Moorlag tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rafael Moorlag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brunsting HC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Maurice Hulscher hit a great ball. Steve Klasens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joep Hoogendorp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes in the game, Joep Hoogendorp fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Steve Klasens having to interfere. Boukoul's Steve Klasens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Boukoul from getting a goal against them. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boukoul! 45 minutes into the game, Boukoul's Mart van Duuren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruud Hemmen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theo Seedorf made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Denny Hoogendorp managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boukoul's supporters rose to their feet, but Denny Hoogendorp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Hemmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iwan Maurits sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruud Hemmen was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Theo Seedorf capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Theo Seedorf really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 69th minute, Joep Hoogendorp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Steve Klasens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Theo Seedorf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruud Hemmen having to interfere. In the 78th minute of the match Mike Klooster sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steve Klasens skillfully saved the ball. Iwan Maurits recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mike Klooster hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Boukoul's Sipke Craandijk was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ruud Hemmen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Falco Sybering had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boukoul's Steve Klasens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joep Hoogendorp in the 94th minute of play. Rafael Moorlag fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Klasens having to interfere.
