When Jochem Latten came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Heijenraat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jochem Latten couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Heijenraat FC's Ferdi Dekens got control of the ball when Abraham van der Werff tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jochem Wortelboer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jochem Latten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Mark de Lange tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacob Planting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdi Dekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochem Wortelboer in the 32nd minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Heijenraat FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem Wortelboer came free, but Ferdi Dekens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The wind increased when Jochem Latten made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, Oudkerk's Abraham van der Werff made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdi Dekens was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Jochem Latten came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Heijenraat FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jochem Latten couldn't finish the play. 60 minutes into the match, Jochem Wortelboer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferdi Dekens. Heijenraat FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jochem Wortelboer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Mark de Lange showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jochem Latten, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Jacob Planting sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oudkerk's Mark de Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochem Latten in the 92nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochem Wortelboer in the 93rd minute of play forced Heijenraat FC's goalkeeper Ferdi Dekens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob Planting could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Mark de Lange made a huge save. For all the effort they put into the match, the Heijenraat FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Oudkerk.
