Fred Decheiver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damien Zijden in the 5th minute of play. If Reinier Landzaat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kliesse's Reinier Landzaat got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niels-Jan Haremeijer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yorrick Broekema having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Dorterhoek S.C.'s Otto Rensenbrink got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Niels-Jan Haremeijer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kliesse's supporters rose to their feet, but Niels-Jan Haremeijer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yorrick Broekema breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dorterhoek S.C.'s Stefano Bas got a free kick in the 20th minute. Niels-Jan Haremeijer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yorrick Broekema having to interfere. A collision led to Kliesse getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Philip Evers hit a great ball. Damien Zijden might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Decheiver. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Damien Zijden ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin Rogaars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Decheiver having to interfere. When Youri Vroom fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kliesse's protests and gave Youri Vroom a yellow card for diving instead. Fred Decheiver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elroy Klasen in the 32nd minute of play. After 38 played minutes, Kliesse's Twan Kinear shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yorrick Broekema came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kliesse reached it. Reinier Landzaat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niels-Jan Haremeijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Niels-Jan Haremeijer made the kick off in the second half. Reinier Landzaat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Yorrick Broekema tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niels-Jan Haremeijer in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yorrick Broekema saved Dorterhoek S.C. from getting behind. Fred Decheiver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damien Zijden, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Reinier Landzaat took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yorrick Broekema. Yorrick Broekema dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Dorterhoek S.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Niels-Jan Haremeijer came free, but Yorrick Broekema reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Dorterhoek S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damien Zijden to maneuver through the defense. If Reinier Landzaat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
