He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Spang reached it. Jelle Sándor struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Huib de Vogt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spang. Melvin Rinzema hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ooien VV getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Sven van den Eede hit a great ball. Emiel Hilkes in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Huib de Vogt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roger van Basten scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Iwan van Hintum, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 53rd minute Roger van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan van Hintum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ooien VV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven van den Eede in the 57th minute. Spang's Iwan van Hintum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Spang from getting a goal against them. Iwan van Hintum made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Henry Dorenbosch sent off a good shot on target. Jelle Sándor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Huib de Vogt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iwan van Hintum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Dorenbosch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Spang's goalkeeper Iwan van Hintum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henry Dorenbosch. Iwan van Hintum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Huib de Vogt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jelle Sándor, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Tonnie Vaalman fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the match was over Ooien VV could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Spang throughout the match.
