Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jacobus van der Meijde got the match started through his kick off. Damien Jans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus van der Meijde in the 3rd minute of play. After 8 minutes Someren's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thomas Bessing who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Taco Plagge got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ramon van der Bij quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ramon van der Bij stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Saarloos's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ramon van der Bij made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Filip Kleefstra sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Saarloos in the 17th minute of play forced Someren's goalkeeper Ramon van der Bij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacobus van der Meijde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Damien Jans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emiel Iemberge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Jacobus van der Meijde's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damien Jans was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. A collision led to Nieuwedorp getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Twan Oss hit a great ball. Han Pietersma's late challenge caught a Someren's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Han Pietersma helped the player get up and apologised. Emiel Iemberge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Jans having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Nieuwedorp's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobus van der Meijde came free, but Damien Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Nieuwedorp's Han Pietersma got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute, Nico-Jan Zielman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute, Thomas Bessing sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Someren's Ramon van der Bij didn't even have to move. Filip Klaus charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filip Klaus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Jacobus van der Meijde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Nieuwedorp's Han Pietersma got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Kleefstra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filip Kleefstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ramon van der Bij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeroen de Visser kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Filip Kleefstra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon van der Bij having to interfere. After having played for 58 minutes, Dirk Jan Lucius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nieuwedorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dirk Jan Lucius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Kleefstra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ramon van der Bij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Someren's zone, Filip Kleefstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon van der Bij came out of the goal and Filip Kleefstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon van der Bij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Kleefstra in the 71st minute of play. Damien Jans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobus van der Meijde in the 72nd minute of play. Emiel Iemberge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Damien Jans made a huge save. In the 83rdth minute of the game Filip Kleefstra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Someren's Ramon van der Bij was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Someren's zone, Filip Kleefstra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon van der Bij came out of the goal and Filip Kleefstra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon van der Bij came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Nieuwedorp's Filip Kleefstra. But to his dismay, Filip Kleefstra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Filip Kleefstra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
