Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Reijmersbeek's Luc Folkers started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Lucas van Zomeren fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lucas van Zomeren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerard Houwing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Lucas van Zomeren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 16thth minute, Gerard Houwing skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Toni Otten fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beets's protests and gave Toni Otten a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Beets getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Toni Otten hit a great ball. Luc Folkers kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Luc Folkers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerard Houwing made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Bas Langenbach sent off a good shot on target. Lucas van Zomeren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucas van Zomeren was the one to do the kick off. Beets's Humberto Zeeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Dolfing in the 54th minute of play. When Beets's Bas Langenbach in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reijmersbeek's goalie prevented a goal. After 56 minutes, Gerald Ruiter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reijmersbeek and the Beets players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Reijmersbeek getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Gerald Ruiter hit a great ball. Luc Folkers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Zeeman having to interfere. Gerard Houwing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas van Zomeren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 70th minute, Bas Langenbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerard Houwing was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Henk-Jan de Visscher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Humberto Zeeman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Reijmersbeek's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas van Zomeren came free, but Gerard Houwing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Reijmersbeek's zone, Lucas van Zomeren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Houwing came out of the goal and Lucas van Zomeren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lucas van Zomeren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the game, Oscar Sleiffer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beets's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reijmersbeek the free kick. If Luc Folkers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
