Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mart Evers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos van Gessel in the 4th minute of play forced Tull's goalkeeper Henk Bas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timo Swerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Iepstra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Robin Iepstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Swerts in the 7th minute of play. Mickael Harmsen hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. With his leg Henk Bas managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Hushoven's Twan Olfers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Hushoven's Henk Bas threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jos van Gessel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as Hushoven's Jos van Gessel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henk Bas. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Jos van Gessel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hushoven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jos van Gessel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jos van Gessel during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes Hushoven got a freekick which was hit by Jos van Gessel. Jos van Gessel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Yuri de Swart fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hushoven's protests and gave Yuri de Swart a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Yuri de Swart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlo Cohen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mart Evers in the 34th minute of play forced Hushoven's goalkeeper Robin Iepstra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Timo Swerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tull's supporters rose to their feet, but Timo Swerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Iepstra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Iepstra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mart Evers went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Henk Bas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jos van Gessel in the 42nd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jos van Gessel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Twan Olfers struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Henk Bas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hushoven. Mickael Harmsen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Twan Olfers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timo Swerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Iepstra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timo Swerts ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lucien Schuurmans fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hushoven's protests and gave Lucien Schuurmans a yellow card for diving instead. After 64 played minutes Hushoven got a freekick which was hit by Lucien Schuurmans. 65 minutes into the game, Tull's Mart Evers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robin Iepstra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Mart Evers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tull's supporters rose to their feet, but Mart Evers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Iepstra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jos van Gessel in the 75th minute of play forced Tull's goalkeeper Henk Bas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 76 played minutes Tull got a freekick which was hit by Mickael Harmsen. After a rather tough play, Tull's Roeland Hagenouw got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Jos van Gessel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Jasper Ellerman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tull and the Hushoven players grew even worse after the yellow card. 93 minutes into the game, one of Tull:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 98th minute, Timo Swerts got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tull walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
