When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mart Evers made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mart Evers in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Schuiling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute of the match, Richard Griemink tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Henk Bas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Richard Griemink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Roland Grasmaaijer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Henk Bas was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Richard Griemink capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Richard Griemink really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Henk Bas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Griemink, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Roland Grasmaaijer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
