Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jelle Brinke started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maarten Cruijff during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bargebek getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Maarten Cruijff hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Ferdinant Kuipers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerjan van der Gun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jasper Nieuwburg having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Ferdinant Kuipers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bargebek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Doornsteeg the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Bargebek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferdinant Kuipers to maneuver through the defense. Doornsteeg's Gerjan van der Gun got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jelle Brinke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurens Collen in the 21st minute of play forced Doornsteeg's goalkeeper Egbert Matthijs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jasper Nieuwburg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arjen Rieks's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Bjorn Zeevenhoven in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egbert Matthijs, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bjorn Zeevenhoven took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egbert Matthijs. Egbert Matthijs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Jasper Nieuwburg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelle Brinke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bargebek's Laurens Collen got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egbert Matthijs made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bjorn Zeevenhoven in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurens Collen made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Doornsteeg's zone, Laurens Collen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egbert Matthijs came out of the goal and Laurens Collen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theo van der Werff's late challenge caught a Bargebek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theo van der Werff helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bargebek booed when Doornsteeg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo van der Werff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerjan van der Gun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Jasper Nieuwburg made a huge save. In the 68th match minute, Bargebek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maarten Cruijff to maneuver through the defense. Gerjan van der Guns short, quick shot in the 71stth minute got Jasper Nieuwburg to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bargebek's Jasper Nieuwburg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelle Brinke in the 77th minute of play. Ben Zomerdijk kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gerjan van der Gun took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jasper Nieuwburg. Jasper Nieuwburg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jasper Nieuwburg was a little too slow when Jelle Brinke got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Doornsteeg's Egbert Matthijs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjorn Zeevenhoven in the 89th minute of play. Bjorn Zeevenhoven received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Egbert Matthijs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bargebek booed when Doornsteeg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Theo van der Werff didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute Ferdinant Kuipers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egbert Matthijs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
