Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A hard shot by Olof Reints from long distance, 3 minutes into the match, got Victor Ridder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The supporters of Beesel HC booed when Grixhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elbert Eefting didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hans Daniels was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, Bjorn Pieters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grixhoek's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beesel HC the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Grixhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjorn Pieters to maneuver through the defense. In the 13thth minute of the game Lucas Sans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beesel HC's Victor Ridder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Grixhoek's Lucas Sans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victor Ridder. Victor Ridder yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Henny Wielens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beesel HC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grixhoek the free kick. After 20 played minutes Beesel HC got a freekick which was hit by Henny Wielens. Fabiën Coopman, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Lucas Sans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Ridder having to interfere. If Guus Boeringe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bram Hilbrands might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bastiaan Rodenboog. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bram Hilbrands ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Guus Boeringe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beesel HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guus Boeringe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastiaan Rodenboog breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 49th match minute, Grixhoek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bjorn Pieters to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bram Hilbrands stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Bjorn Pieters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bram Hilbrands sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remco Wehkamp's late challenge caught a Grixhoek's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remco Wehkamp helped the player get up and apologised. Remco Wehkamp hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Grixhoek's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bram Hilbrands 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. If Jan Staal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Sans in the 76th minute of play forced Beesel HC's goalkeeper Victor Ridder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Lucas Sans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes, Grixhoek's Olof Reints shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Victor Ridder came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grixhoek reached it. Victor Ridder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Staal in the 87th minute of the match. If Jan Staal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiën Coopman charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabiën Coopman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bram Hilbrands recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
