Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Abraham Soer kicked off to start the match. Jan Schalkwijk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abraham Soer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Schalkwijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Soer in the 7th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filip Drok in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melvin Rijaard saved Koevorden HC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Filip Drok's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melvin Rijaard was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After having played for 23 minutes, Mart Toolenaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Koevorden HC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mart Toolenaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Gaastmeer's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Soer came free, but Jan Schalkwijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Tonnie Pool managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaastmeer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonnie Pool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Drok received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Melvin Rijaard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melvin Rijaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Drok in the 32nd minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Jan Kikkert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melvin Rijaard skillfully saved the ball. When Mart Toolenaar came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Koevorden HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mart Toolenaar couldn't finish the play. Jan Schalkwijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mart Toolenaar in the 45th minute of play. Thijs Graaff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jan Schalkwijk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filip Drok made a kick off. Jan Schalkwijk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Soer, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the game, Mark van Duuren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gaastmeer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Koevorden HC the free kick. In the 56th minute, Mark van Duuren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martijn Aerts hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Gaastmeer's goal looked a bit too open when Abraham Soer came free, but Jan Schalkwijk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melvin Rijaard came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Gaastmeer's Filip Drok. But to his dismay, Filip Drok quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Tonnie Pool sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tonnie Pool hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gaastmeer's Felix Dongen got a free kick in the 88th minute. Martien Grommers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jan Schalkwijk. Gaastmeer's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 90 minutes of play, Gaastmeer's Tonnie Pool made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melvin Rijaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Filip Drok came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Gaastmeer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Drok couldn't finish the play. Gaastmeer were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Koevorden HC for a fine match.
