Oudemolen Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Houtman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pim Oosterveld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roelof Beishuizen to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Roelof Beishuizen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oudemolen Eendracht's Jelle Ridder was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Chiel Winters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pim Oosterveld showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chiel Winters, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 72 minutes into the game, one of Westerholte:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
