Rien Geers started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Aperloo HC's Thomas Geerts got control of the ball when Jelle Olfers tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 3 played minutes Aperloo HC got a freekick which was hit by Stijn Zwaanswijk. Marco Busch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Ostermann having to interfere. Gerard Ostermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Zondervan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Busch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wevershoek's goalkeeper Gerard Ostermann, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Wevershoek's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Busch came free, but Gerard Ostermann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Ostermann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Busch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martien Klap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gerard Ostermann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Geerts made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jelle Olfers in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Wevershoek getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Bernard Staal hit a great ball. When Martien Klap came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Aperloo HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martien Klap couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Busch to strike the kick off in the second half. Martien Klap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jelle Olfers in the 53rd minute of play forced Aperloo HC's goalkeeper Thomas Geerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martien Klap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gerard Ostermann made a huge save. The supporters of Aperloo HC booed when Wevershoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Joost Borst didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martien Klap sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marco Busch was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Aperloo HC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 78 minutes into the match, Aperloo HC's goal looked a bit too open when Rien Geers came free, but Thomas Geerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerard Ostermann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martien Klap in the 82nd minute. Thomas Geerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rien Geers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Rudolf Zondervan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aperloo HC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudolf Zondervan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerard Ostermann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
