With a left leg Sefa Yahya saved HORIZZONT from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Necdet Oğuzer capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Necdet Oğuzer really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Sefa Yahya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sefa Yahya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Villa's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Onuralp Ferikoğlu in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Necdet Oğuzer went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sefa Yahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Espinar in the 38th minute of the match. HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 41st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sefa Yahya saved HORIZZONT from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Necdet Oğuzer could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. Sefa Yahya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Villa in the 55th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Sebastian Villa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sefa Yahya. That made the score 2-2 after 60 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Villa got free with Sefa Yahya in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Sefa Yahya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Sefa Yahya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 69th minute of the match. A collision led to HORIZZONT getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Necdet Oğuzer hit a great ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Necdet Oğuzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HORIZZONT's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necdet Oğuzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sefa Yahya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute. HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Espinar in the 84th minute of play. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sefa Yahya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. HORIZZONT's Sefa Yahya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save HORIZZONT from getting a goal against them. Honduras were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing HORIZZONT to leave the ground with a draw.
