Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovanni Baan took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Stegeren VV's goalkeeper Marcus Zalm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 5 minutes, Giovanni Baan made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bantega's Jan van Galen tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 11 minutes, Nico Dol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bantega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Dol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Domenik Bender charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Domenik Bender the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Stegeren VV getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Domenik Bender hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Nico Dol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bantega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nico Dol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giovanni Baan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Douwe Nibbelke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bantega's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stegeren VV the free kick. Douwe Nibbelke kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Giovanni Baan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stegeren VV's supporters rose to their feet, but Giovanni Baan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan van Galen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rob Dost recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rob Dost was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 32nd minute. Bantega's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Giovanni Baan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Stegeren VV booed when Bantega was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Aalst didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Stegeren VV's corner Yorrick Zandberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan van Galen quite easily take care of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nico Dol to make the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Giovanni Blanker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stegeren VV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Blanker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Rob Dost left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bantega fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Bantega:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stegeren VV:s goal. With an all-out effort, Stegeren VV's Jan van Galen threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Giovanni Baan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bantega's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
