In the 24th minute Bart Dagelet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jordy Karelse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bjorn Kort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niels-Jan van Dongen charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Joop Zeydeveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Wilfried Willemse made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th play minute Bart Dagelet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jordy Karelse. 2-1. Bart Dagelet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Jordy Karelse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Nyawier FC's Dimitrie Niekamp got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Jordy Karelse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Willemse in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Bjorn Kort got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Snodenhoek's Bart Dagelet got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Ruben Sturm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilfried Willemse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordy Karelse having to interfere. Bjorn Kort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Nyawier FC's zone, Wilfried Willemse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jordy Karelse came out of the goal and Wilfried Willemse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Bart Dagelet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bart Dagelet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Snodenhoek players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nyawier FC.
