Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 10 minutes into the match, Ate Baardmam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berry Planting. Wetsens's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ate Baardmam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Gert Jan Lyle hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elbert Blikman in the 27th minute of play forced Kerspel HC's goalkeeper Teun Luikens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kees Buys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Teun Luikens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Kerspel HC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gert Jan Lyle hit a great ball. Bennie Stubbe lost his temper 32 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Wetsens. Demy van Putten stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Teun Luikens. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Elbert Blikman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Kerspel HC's Teun Luikens. Teun Luikens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 41 minutes into the match, Wetsens's goalkeeper Berry Planting had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ate Baardmam. Twan Gasteren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berry Planting having to interfere. Berry Planting made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ate Baardmam in the 44th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lennart de Boer in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teun Luikens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Kerspel HC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Wetsens were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elbert Blikman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ate Baardmam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berry Planting didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martien Wesveld went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the game, Wetsens's Elbert Blikman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teun Luikens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Ate Baardmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Mike Kielstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kerspel HC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Wetsens's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerrie Lange took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Otto Masker managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Elbert Blikman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lennart de Boer kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 96th play minutes Kees Buys shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Teun Luikens and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wetsens had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
