After 6 played minutes Heek got a freekick which was hit by Pim de Wolf. The nice shot from Joris Geerts in the 15thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Jonathan Wilminck had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Heek's Koen Spoel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marco Plescher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koen Spoel in the 24th minute of play. Heek's Jonathan Wilminck proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Heek from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute, Koen Spoel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Gerrie Swart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martien Fleur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jonathan Wilminck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Joris Geerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vogelgezang Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Joris Geerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Wilminck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martien Fleur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Jorn Degenkamp was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vogelgezang Eendracht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heek the free kick. A collision led to Vogelgezang Eendracht getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Jorn Degenkamp hit a great ball. Koen Spoel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Marco Plescher made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Martien Fleur managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vogelgezang Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Martien Fleur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koen Spoel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Plescher having to make a save. When Jorn Degenkamp was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. In the 67th minute, Jorn Degenkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Plescher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerrie Swart, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Koen Spoel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Marco Plescher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vogelgezang Eendracht's Gert Sneijder got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heek's goalkeeper Jonathan Wilminck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joris Geerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Wilminck having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gerrie Swart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Plescher was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 86 minutes of play, Heek's Gerrie Swart made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Plescher was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Heek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
