The supporters of Passenrot FC booed when Vroenhout was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaas Wilminck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, Vroenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Wilminck to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Klaas Wilminck during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Vroenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klaas Wilminck to maneuver through the defense. Andre Even, 9 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Vroenhout's supporters rose to their feet, but Stef Heebels was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries de Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Even kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Passenrot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Been came free, but Dries de Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fred Stam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jurre Baars made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Stam in the 29th minute. In the 30th match minute, Passenrot FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Ridder to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Passenrot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Been came free, but Dries de Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stef Heebels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries de Freitas having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Fred Stam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Passenrot FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Stam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Vroenhout's Jurre Baars got control of the ball when Fred Stam tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rick de Boer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rick de Boer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Vroenhout was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonny Winters to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Passenrot FC's Rick de Boer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jurre Baars narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dries de Freitas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tonny Winters in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Tonny Winters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Rik Hosson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jurre Baars took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick de Boer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Passenrot FC's Dries de Freitas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Passenrot FC from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, Passenrot FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stef Heebels came free, but Dries de Freitas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Tonny Winters managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vroenhout's supporters rose to their feet, but Tonny Winters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dries de Freitas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stef Heebels in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dries de Freitas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Stef Heebels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dries de Freitas having to interfere. Rick de Boer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurre Baars having to interfere. Vroenhout's Jurre Baars played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rick de Boer in the 93rd minute of play. Klaas Wilminck got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Vroenhout's Klaas Wilminck got a free kick in the 95th minute. Jurre Baars took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick de Boer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
