Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ted Zwinkels started the match with the kick off. Cees Bense's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hendrik Overdiep read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Melvin Blom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Klaas Jan Gronden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dukenburg HC's Hendrik Overdiep got control of the ball when Vincent Pool tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Melvin Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ted Zwinkels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Cees Bense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jelle Aerssen came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Dukenburg HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jelle Aerssen couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Dukenburg HC booed when Mariadorp Eendracht was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Youri Kuis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute of the match Pascal Mueller sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik Overdiep skillfully saved the ball. Hendrik Overdiep made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vincent Pool in the 39th minute. The supporters of Mariadorp Eendracht booed when Dukenburg HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koos Zoetmulder didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Cees Bense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Overdiep saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jurgen Veldhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 48 minutes into the match, Dukenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Cees Bense came free, but Hendrik Overdiep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Cees Bense made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ted Zwinkels in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Klaas Jan Gronden saved Mariadorp Eendracht from getting behind. When Cees Bense came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Mariadorp Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cees Bense couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the match, Dukenburg HC's goal looked a bit too open when Cees Bense came free, but Hendrik Overdiep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Henny Bos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hendrik Overdiep skillfully saved the ball.
