Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cees Bense made the kick off which started today's match. In the 6th minute, Vincent Pool got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Cees Bense made a precise shot to the right of Rik Spaan. Vlist's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Klaas Jan Gronden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Duinhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rik Spaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cees Bense in the 17th minute of the match. If Filip Duinhoven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carsten Siebum hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Roel Thijsse charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roel Thijsse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vlist's Roel Thijsse got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Sjaak Kuypers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Vlist's goalkeeper Rik Spaan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vincent Pool. Rik Spaan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cees Bense in the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st of the match, Cees Bense tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rik Spaan got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 45th minute, Filip Duinhoven made a precise shot to the right of Klaas Jan Gronden. Mariadorp Eendracht's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sjaak Kuypers to make the kick off. Sjaak Kuypers succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After having played for 60 minutes, Filip Duinhoven managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vlist's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Duinhoven was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klaas Jan Gronden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sjaak Kuypers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jurgen Veldhuis fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mariadorp Eendracht's protests and gave Jurgen Veldhuis a yellow card for diving instead. Jurgen Veldhuis hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Pool in the 66th minute of play forced Vlist's goalkeeper Rik Spaan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vincent Pool had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Mariadorp Eendracht's goal looked a bit too open when Sjaak Kuypers came free, but Klaas Jan Gronden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sjaak Kuypers in the 80th minute of play forced Mariadorp Eendracht's goalkeeper Klaas Jan Gronden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Filip Duinhoven had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaas Jan Gronden. Mariadorp Eendracht's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Duinhoven was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vlist had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
