Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Harold van der Schans kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Ramon Zeydeveld lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Edgard Ruben. After a rather tough play, Stegerveld's Jaap Schild got a free kick in the 8th minute. With a little luck, Rilland's Edgard Ruben got control of the ball when Tomas Ostermann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Ostermanns short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Edgard Ruben to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Stegerveld booed when Rilland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Berg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Guus Severijnse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rilland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guus Severijnse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harold van der Schans in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ed Mos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Ostermann struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Edgard Ruben didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stegerveld. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stegerveld's goalkeeper Ed Mos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Guus Severijnse came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rilland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guus Severijnse couldn't finish the play. If Harold van der Schans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40thth minute of the game Harold van der Schans who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stegerveld's Ed Mos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Rilland's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Zeydeveld came free, but Edgard Ruben reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Zeydeveld to make the kick off. Harold van der Schans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Mos having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Harold van der Schans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ed Mos was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramon Zeydeveld in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Ruben prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaas Timmerman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Guus Severijnse managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rilland's supporters rose to their feet, but Guus Severijnse was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ed Mos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Ramon Zeydeveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Stegerveld's Tomas Ostermann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Ruben narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgard Ruben showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Ostermann in the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the game, Guus Severijnse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ed Mos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Harold van der Schans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Stegerveld's Klaas Timmerman got a free kick in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Guus Severijnse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rilland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guus Severijnse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Harold van der Schans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ed Mos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramon Zeydeveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramon Zeydeveld scored 2-1 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Ruben, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stegerveld's Tomas Ostermann got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stegerveld had won after a very even match.
