Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Beuseberg's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon Zeydeveld came free, but Marcel Lyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Godfried Eschendaal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ed Mos, 1-0. Ed Mos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristof Pik, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kristof Pik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfried Eschendaal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ed Mos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Jef Roordink's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Ed Mos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ramon Zeydeveld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Kristof Pik managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beuseberg's supporters rose to their feet, but Kristof Pik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ed Mos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ramon Zeydeveld blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Lyle having to make a save. Marcel Lyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Zeydeveld, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Lennart Ter kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Kristof Pik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Ed Mos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristof Pik made a kick off. In the 51st minute of the match Geert Arend Rodenberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel Lyle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 52 minutes, Willem Schaars mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beuseberg and the Stegerveld players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willem Schaars hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Kristof Pik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ed Mos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfried Eschendaal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Mos having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristof Pik in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ed Mos saved Stegerveld from getting behind. After some careless play in the Stegerveld defense, Godfried Eschendaal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ed Mos. The Stegerveld fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Mos should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute Godfried Eschendaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Mos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristof Pik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ed Mos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stegerveld's Ed Mos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfried Eschendaal in the 86th minute of play. Godfried Eschendaal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ed Mos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramon Zeydeveld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel Lyle having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Coos van der Haar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stegerveld's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
