Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Egbert van Asseldonk took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Ganzert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Beuk to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Ganzert's goalkeeper Luuk Nagel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Zomerdijk. With a little luck, Ganzert's Luuk Nagel got control of the ball when Ruben Zomerdijk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, one of Catsop:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Ganzert a penalty, 15 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Max Beuk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Catsop's Kurt Zijden. 0-1. Harris Schild struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Kurt Zijden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ganzert. 21 minutes into the match, Catsop's goal looked a bit too open when Harris Schild came free, but Kurt Zijden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harris Schild sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnold Berendt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harris Schild blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kurt Zijden having to make a save. Arnold Berendt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Zijden having to interfere. Harris Schild's late challenge caught a Catsop's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harris Schild helped the player get up and apologised. Ruben Zomerdijk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Zomerdijk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luuk Nagel having to make a save. When Arnold Berendt came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Ganzert fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnold Berendt couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harris Schild stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Ruben Zomerdijk ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luuk Nagel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kurt Zijden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harris Schild in the 65th minute of the match. If Harris Schild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luuk Nagel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Zomerdijk in the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Harris Schild sped through Catsop's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kurt Zijden. Arnold Berendt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Kurt Zijden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harris Schild scored 2-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kurt Zijden, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Catsop supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ganzert's performance. The match ended with a win for Ganzert.
